About the Artist

Olga Karpeisky is a Russian-born, Colorado-based artist known for her expressive still life and portrait oil paintings. Since moving from Moscow to the United States in 1993, Olga has built a distinguished career grounded in her deep sensitivity to light, form, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.

Through rhythmic, balanced compositions and a dynamic use of light, she seeks to capture the fleeting, peaceful moments that speak to the human spirit. Her work is a celebration of presence—where stillness, harmony, and emotion meet on canvas.

Olga’s paintings have received national and international recognition, including awards from the Plein Air Salon Art Competition (“Best Still Life,” October 2023; “Best of Floral,” August 2024), and the Royal Brush Award at the 78th Grand National Exhibition in New York. She was an invited artist at the Florence Biennale in Italy.

Her art has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across the U.S. and abroad, including Spaso House (U.S. Ambassador’s Residence in Moscow), the Russian Embassy and Cultural Center in Washington, D.C., the Mizel Museum and Madden Museum in Denver, and the U.S. District Court of Maryland. Olga’s work is part of both municipal and private collections.

Artist Statement

“Beauty speaks to each of us in different ways—but what connects us all is the gift of life itself. Whether joyful or quiet, fleeting or still, I am drawn to the subtle emotional resonance of ordinary moments. In my paintings, I aim to pause time and invite the viewer into a space of reflection, harmony, and light. Each work is a visual poem—an attempt to capture the soul of the moment and make it last.”
