Mileva Stankovic, known artistically as Misha Stankovic, was born in Požarevac, Serbia on February 13, 1991. Though she aspired to attend an art high school, financial constraints led her to study Trade and Tourism. She later earned a degree in Professional Criminalistics but chose freelancing over a uniformed career. Over the past decade, she has worked as a content writer and editor.

In December 2023, a gift painting rekindled her passion for art. Throughout 2024, she painted daily, refining her skills with acrylics. She explored landscapes, still life, and abstracts, selling several works and exhibiting “Old

Fishermen’s Houses” in Miami via Expo Metro. She also submitted three paintings to the London Art Biennale 2025, currently waiting for results.

Nature remains her greatest inspiration, with influences from Peder Mørk Mønsted, Fyodor Vasilyev, Claude Monet, and René Magritte. She aims to merge expressionism, impressionism, luminism, and tonalism, striving to perfect her acrylic technique. While landscapes are her main focus, she uses abstraction to overcome creative blocks. Looking ahead, she plans to engage actively in the global art scene and develop her unique artistic voice.
