Elena Broach is a classically trained artist, currently based in Magnolia, Texas. Her artistic journey began in childhood and evolved into an exploration of the natural beauty of the world. She equally finds great joy capturing landscapes of familiar places, the magnificence of a sunrise or sunset, or the simple elegance of a flower. Elena often combines transparent layers with impasto application of paint, resulting in her work having both impressionistic qualities and depth of realism.

Her lyrical approach invites viewers on a journey to a place of renewal. The fascination with colors and the effects of light and shadows creates memorable visual and emotional impacts to the viewer. With each painting, she strives for mastery and establishing an emotional connection with the viewer. Elena believes that paintings are a special language in which no words are spoken, yet meaningful stories are told. Her dream is for her paintings to be moving and alive within their own world, which a viewer enters and stays for a while.

Recent accomplishments include: Elena’s paintings that are part of the Fredericksburg (Virginia) Area Museum “Living Legacies” exhibition (May 2025-December 2027); ongoing exhibitions of her paintings at the Museum of Visual Arts and Sciences (MOVAS) in Fredericksburg, Virginia; twice finalist in the Conroe Art League International Fine Art Competition and Exhibition; recent first place in judged art shows at both the Conroe and Woodlands art leagues; and second place in the 2025 Lone Star Art Guild regional show and exhibition.
